Website now, software next

Podiatry marketing for podiatrists.

People find a podiatrist through a local search, then check the reviews and whether the person is on the Health and Care Professions Council register. Many practitioners still call themselves chiropodists, and clients search for both words. bamboo already reads reviews, ranks a provider against named rivals and builds the page that ads point to, for care providers. The software is not open to podiatry practices yet. The website build and our team running the services are available now, and this page covers all of it.

A site we built

drsheelmehta.com, a bespoke site we built.

A consultant clinical oncologist's private practice site, built and run by Bridgehead and live since 6 November 2026. It states her GMC number and qualifications, says what she treats and where, and explains how fees work.

The home page of drsheelmehta.com: a consultant's name and specialty, a book a consultation button, and her GMC number, qualifications and training.
Home: the name, the specialty, how to book, and the credentials patients check first.
The expertise page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Conditions and treatments.
Expertise: the conditions treated and the treatments delivered, in plain language.
The fees page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Transparent fees, set by the host hospital.
Fees: how they are set and which insurers recognise her.

How a build runs

From first call to live.

What people check

How podiatrists get chosen.

The HCPC register

Podiatrists and chiropodists are registered with the HCPC, and a client can look a practitioner up.

Google Maps and reviews

Most clients find a practice through a local search, then read the reviews.

The Royal College of Podiatry listing

Members in private practice can have a free listing on the College's website and on the NHS website, and clients compare it with your own site.

The rules

What your advertising has to follow.

Protected titles

Podiatrist and chiropodist are both protected titles. Using one without HCPC registration is a criminal offence when it is meant to deceive, and the HCPC does prosecute. Showing each practitioner's registration on their page answers the question a client is checking.

The ASA and the CAP Code

A claim that a treatment cures or relieves a condition needs evidence, and a client testimonial cannot stand in for it. Describe what the appointment involves rather than promising a result.

What we would publish first

The first three pages for podiatrists.

  1. 01

    A page for each practitioner

Name, HCPC number, qualifications, interests and who they treat.

  2. 02

A page for each problem you treat

Ingrowing toenails, verrucas, nail and skin care, sports injuries: written around what the person searches for and what the first appointment involves.

  3. 03

How to book and what it costs

Prices, appointment lengths and where the clinic is, on the page.

See it running

Questions

Before you join.

Is a podiatrist the same as a chiropodist?

For registration, yes: both titles are protected and both sit on the HCPC register. The NHS describes podiatrists as also known as chiropodists. We would use whichever word your clients search for, and both where it helps.

Does my page need my HCPC number?

We would put it on each practitioner's page. It is the check a client makes before booking, and it lets them confirm your title is genuine.

Can I use bamboo today?

The website build is available now. bamboo, the software, is built and running for CQC-registered care providers and is not open to this profession yet. Join the waitlist and we write to you when it is, with the price before you decide.

Do I need bamboo to have the website?

No. The website is sold on its own. The software is a separate subscription that we offer when it opens to your profession.
