- Always a year ahead
The care calendar is a filtered year: the dates that give a care provider a reason to post, hold an event or ring the local paper. Each date carries a short idea, and the ones you shortlist can go straight into Outlook or Google Calendar.
It is not a content factory. It is a list of good reasons, with the dates right, so you plan the month before it arrives instead of noticing the awareness week on the Friday.
What it does
Care calendar, step by step.

The year, filtered for care
National awareness days and weeks relevant to older people and care, the fun days families enjoy, every UK bank holiday, and your own opening anniversary once you add the date.

A post idea for each
A date is only useful with an idea attached. National Tea Day comes with a tea party and a photo. Grandparents Day comes with a letter home.

Export it, or invite your MP
Shortlisted dates export as a calendar file for Outlook or Google. For an open day or an awareness week, bamboo finds your constituency MP and drafts the invitation.

Why it matters
What care calendar changes.
Planning beats noticing
The provider that knows Dementia Action Week is coming has the event, the photos and the press release. The provider that notices on the Friday has nothing.
Local MPs come to care providers
An invitation to an open day is one of the easier pieces of local press a provider can earn. The calendar makes the ask.
Content without the blank page
Twelve months of reasons to post, decided in an afternoon in January.
Questions
The ones that get asked.
Which dates are included?
UK awareness days and weeks relevant to care and older people, fun days, every UK bank holiday, and your own anniversary once you add your opening date.
Can I export to my own calendar?
Yes. Shortlisted dates export as a standard calendar file that Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar all open.
How does the MP invitation work?
bamboo looks up the MP for your constituency and drafts an invitation you can send from your own email. If no public contact address is published for the MP, it tells you.
