Website now, software next

Healthcare marketing for private doctors and clinics.

Patients pick a private doctor or clinic from the few names they can check: the GMC register, the reviews on Google, Doctify and iWantGreatCare, the doctor's own pages, and whatever an assistant says when asked. bamboo already works on that kind of signal for care providers. The software is not open to doctors or clinics yet. The website build and our team running the services are available now, and this page covers all of it.

A site we built

drsheelmehta.com, a bespoke site we built.

A consultant clinical oncologist's private practice site, built and run by Bridgehead and live since 6 November 2026. It states her GMC number and qualifications, says what she treats and where, and explains how fees work.

The home page of drsheelmehta.com: a consultant's name and specialty, a book a consultation button, and her GMC number, qualifications and training.
Home: the name, the specialty, how to book, and the credentials patients check first.
The expertise page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Conditions and treatments.
Expertise: the conditions treated and the treatments delivered, in plain language.
The fees page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Transparent fees, set by the host hospital.
Fees: how they are set and which insurers recognise her.

What the site has

The pages of your site.

  1. 01

    Home

The doctor's name, specialty and GMC number, and how to book.

  2. 02

    About

Biography, qualifications, memberships and where they trained.

  3. 03

    Conditions and treatments

What they treat and what they do not, in plain language.

  4. 04

    Fees and insurance

How fees work and which insurers recognise the doctor.

  5. 05

    Insights

Articles written to answer what patients ask, each with a disclaimer.

  6. 06

    Contact

Where they practise, how to book and a form that reaches your inbox.

How a build runs

From first call to live.

  1. 01

We read your registers and your current site

Your regulator's register, your reviews and what your existing site says, so the first draft starts from fact.

  2. 02

    We write it with you

The pages in your own words, checked against the rules for your profession.

  3. 03

    You approve it

Nothing goes live until you have signed off the copy.

  4. 04

We host it and look after it

On the £99 plan, or the £345 plan if you want us to handle the uploads as well.

What people check

How private doctors and clinics get chosen.

The GMC register

Registration, specialty and licence to practise are public, and anyone can check them.

Review platforms

Google, Doctify and iWantGreatCare carry the reviews patients read before they book.

Your own pages

What your website says about each doctor, and whether ChatGPT or Google names you when someone asks for a specialist nearby.

The rules

What your advertising has to follow.

The GMC's guidance

Good Medical Practice applies to every doctor wherever they work. When you advertise your services, you must not exploit people's vulnerability or lack of medical knowledge, and the information has to be factual and checkable. The GMC also expects advertising to follow the CAP Code.

Prescription-only medicines

The CAP Code does not allow prescription-only medicines to be advertised to the public. The ASA reads that to cover botulinum toxin, including ads that point at it without naming it, and advises promoting the consultation instead.

Testimonials and claims

A testimonial cannot stand in as evidence for a claim, and a claim that a treatment works needs evidence behind it.

What we would publish first

The first three pages for private doctors and clinics.

  1. 01

    A page for each doctor

Specialty, GMC number, qualifications, where they practise, what they treat and what they do not, so a search for the doctor's name lands on a page the clinic controls.

  2. 02

A page for each condition and procedure

What it is, who it suits, what happens and what it costs, in the words patients use.

  3. 03

    Fees stated plainly

Consultation and procedure prices on the page, since a doctor has to be open about fees before a patient consents to treatment.

Questions

Before you join.

Is this for doctors who work in the NHS?

It is for doctors and clinics whose patients choose them privately: consultants with a private list, private GP practices and specialist clinics.

Why are doctors and clinics on one page?

Patients compare them on the same signals, and many clinics are a group of doctors under one name. We expect the rank to treat a clinic and a single practitioner differently, and we would ask which you are.

Can I use bamboo today?

The website build is available now. bamboo, the software, is built and running for CQC-registered care providers and is not open to this profession yet. Join the waitlist and we write to you when it is, with the price before you decide.

What does the website cost?

£1,995 plus VAT to build it. After that, £99 a month plus VAT for hosting, security and maintenance, or £345 a month plus VAT if you also want us to upload and manage your content. Anything beyond that is £100 an hour plus VAT, quoted first.

Do I need bamboo to have the website?

No. The website is sold on its own. The software is a separate subscription that we offer when it opens to your profession.

Does joining the waitlist cost anything?

No. We use your details to write to you about this and for nothing else.
