Website now, software next

Chiropractor marketing for clinics.

People find a chiropractor through a local search, then check the reviews and whether the person is registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Chiropractors are regulated by the GCC, not the HCPC, so the register a client checks is a different one. bamboo already reads reviews, ranks a provider against named rivals and builds the page that ads point to, for care providers. The software is not open to chiropractic clinics yet. The website build and our team running the services are available now, and this page covers all of it.

A site we built

drsheelmehta.com, a bespoke site we built.

A consultant clinical oncologist's private practice site, built and run by Bridgehead and live since 6 November 2026. It states her GMC number and qualifications, says what she treats and where, and explains how fees work.

The home page of drsheelmehta.com: a consultant's name and specialty, a book a consultation button, and her GMC number, qualifications and training.
Home: the name, the specialty, how to book, and the credentials patients check first.
The expertise page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Conditions and treatments.
Expertise: the conditions treated and the treatments delivered, in plain language.
The fees page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Transparent fees, set by the host hospital.
Fees: how they are set and which insurers recognise her.

What people check

How chiropractors get chosen.

The GCC register

Every chiropractor in the UK must be on it, and a client can look a practitioner up.

Google Maps and reviews

Most clients find a clinic through a local search, then read the reviews.

Your professional body

The directory your professional body publishes, and whether your listing agrees with your website.

The rules

What your advertising has to follow.

Chiropractor is a protected title

The Chiropractors Act 1994 makes it a criminal offence to describe yourself as a chiropractor without GCC registration, expressly or by implication, and the GCC can prosecute. CAP advises that a chiropractor who uses "Dr" qualifies it straight away, for example "Doctor of Chiropractic" or "DC".

The ASA and the CAP Code

A claim to treat a condition needs evidence. The ASA and CAP publish the conditions chiropractors may claim to treat, and anything beyond that list needs clinical evidence of its own. The ASA did not find the evidence it reviewed showed chiropractic treats whiplash, so that claim needs more than a testimonial.

What we would publish first

The first three pages for chiropractors.

  1. 01

    A page for each practitioner

Name, GCC registration, qualifications and who they treat.

  2. 02

A page for each condition you can evidence

Written around what the person searches for and what the first appointment involves, using only the claims you can support.

  3. 03

How to book and what it costs

Prices, appointment lengths and where the clinic is, on the page.

Questions

Before you join.

Is a chiropractor an allied health professional?

Chiropractors are regulated by the General Chiropractic Council, not the HCPC, so they sit outside the usual allied health list. They search for the same kind of help as physiotherapists, so they have a page of their own.

Can I call myself Dr on my website?

CAP's advice is to qualify it straight away with the full title, such as "Doctor of Chiropractic", or with "DC". We would write it that way on every page.

Can I use bamboo today?

The website build is available now. bamboo, the software, is built and running for CQC-registered care providers and is not open to this profession yet. Join the waitlist and we write to you when it is, with the price before you decide.

What does the website cost?

£1,995 plus VAT to build it. After that, £99 a month plus VAT for hosting, security and maintenance, or £345 a month plus VAT if you also want us to upload and manage your content. Anything beyond that is £100 an hour plus VAT, quoted first.

Do I need bamboo to have the website?

No. The website is sold on its own. The software is a separate subscription that we offer when it opens to your profession.

Does joining the waitlist cost anything?

No. We use your details to write to you about this and for nothing else.
