Website now, software next

Dietitian marketing for private practice.

People find a dietitian through a local search, then check the reviews and whether the person is on the Health and Care Professions Council register. Many of them search for a nutritionist, or spell it dietician, and still want a registered dietitian. bamboo already reads reviews, ranks a provider against named rivals and builds the page that ads point to, for care providers. The software is not open to dietitians yet. The website build and our team running the services are available now, and this page covers all of it.

A site we built

drsheelmehta.com, a bespoke site we built.

A consultant clinical oncologist's private practice site, built and run by Bridgehead and live since 6 November 2026. It states her GMC number and qualifications, says what she treats and where, and explains how fees work.

The home page of drsheelmehta.com: a consultant's name and specialty, a book a consultation button, and her GMC number, qualifications and training.
Home: the name, the specialty, how to book, and the credentials patients check first.
The expertise page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Conditions and treatments.
Expertise: the conditions treated and the treatments delivered, in plain language.
The fees page of drsheelmehta.com, headed Transparent fees, set by the host hospital.
Fees: how they are set and which insurers recognise her.

How a build runs

From first call to live.

    We write it with you

The pages in your own words, checked against the rules for your profession.

  3. 03

    You approve it

On the £99 plan, or the £345 plan if you want us to handle the uploads as well.

What people check

How dietitians get chosen.

The HCPC register

Dietitian is a protected title, and a client can look a practitioner up on the HCPC register before booking.

Google Maps and reviews

Most clients find a dietitian through a local search, then read the reviews.

The BDA's Freelance Dietitian Directory

The British Dietetic Association points people looking for a private dietitian to its directory, and clients compare that listing with your own site.

The rules

What your advertising has to follow.

Protected titles

Dietitian is protected by law and only people on the HCPC register may use it. Nutritionist is not protected, so anyone can use it. Showing each practitioner's HCPC number on their page answers the question a careful client is asking.

The ASA and the CAP Code on weight

A weight-loss claim needs evidence, and a client testimonial cannot stand in for it. An advert should not promise a set amount of weight in a set time, and treatment for obesity may only be offered under suitably qualified supervision. Describe what working with you involves rather than promising a result.

What we would publish first

The first three pages for dietitians.

  1. 01

    A page for each dietitian

Name, HCPC number, qualifications, specialist areas and who they see.

  2. 02

A page for each problem you help with

IBS and the low FODMAP diet, diabetes, food allergy, weight management, sports nutrition: written around what the person searches for and what the first appointment involves.

  3. 03

How to book and what it costs

Prices, appointment lengths, and whether you see people in a clinic, at home or online.

See it running

Questions

Before you join.

Should my site mention nutritionists as well?

It should explain the difference. In the UK, about 1,700 people a month search for a nutritionist near them, against about 700 for a dietitian and 900 for a dietician (Ahrefs, November 2026). Dietitian is the protected title and the stronger credential, so we would keep it as your title and say plainly what it means, so the page can answer all three searches.

Does my page need my HCPC number?

We would put it on each dietitian's page. It is the check a client makes before booking, and it separates you from people using titles that are not protected.

I only see clients online. Does local search still matter?

Less, but reviews and your own site matter more, because a client choosing an online dietitian has nothing else to judge you by. We would build the pages around the conditions you help with rather than a town.

Can I use bamboo today?

The website build is available now. bamboo, the software, is built and running for CQC-registered care providers and is not open to this profession yet. Join the waitlist and we write to you when it is, with the price before you decide.

What does the website cost?

£1,995 plus VAT to build it. After that, £99 a month plus VAT for hosting, security and maintenance, or £345 a month plus VAT if you also want us to upload and manage your content. Anything beyond that is £100 an hour plus VAT, quoted first.

Do I need bamboo to have the website?

No. The website is sold on its own. The software is a separate subscription that we offer when it opens to your profession.

Does joining the waitlist cost anything?

No. We use your details to write to you about this and for nothing else.
