Website now, software next
Physio marketing for physiotherapists.
People find a physiotherapist through a local search, then check the reviews and whether the person is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Podiatrists, dietitians, speech and language therapists and other allied health professionals are chosen the same way. bamboo already reads reviews, ranks a provider against named rivals and builds the page that ads point to, for care providers. The software is not open to physiotherapy practices yet. The website build and our team running the services are available now, and this page covers all of it.

The pages of your site.
01 Home
Who you are, where you are and how to book.
02 The team
Each practitioner, with qualifications and HCPC number.
03 Conditions we treat
A page for each condition, written around what people search and what the first appointment involves.

Prices, appointment lengths and whether insurers are accepted.

What people check
How physiotherapists get chosen.
The HCPC register
Most allied health professions are registered with the HCPC, and a client can look a practitioner up.
Google Maps and reviews
Most clients find a practitioner through a local search, then read the reviews.
Your professional body
The directory your professional body publishes, and whether your listing agrees with your website.
The rules
What your advertising has to follow.
Protected titles
Physiotherapist and physical therapist are protected titles. Using one without HCPC registration is a criminal offence when it is meant to deceive, and describing your services as physiotherapy can be enough to count. A clinic can be owned by someone who is not registered, but the physiotherapy has to be provided by people who are.
The ASA and the CAP Code
A claim that a therapy treats a condition needs evidence, usually clinical evidence, and a client testimonial cannot stand in for it. A testimonial that praises the practitioner's advice and manner is easier to defend than one that says the treatment worked.
What we would publish first
The first three pages for physiotherapists.
01 A page for each practitioner
Name, HCPC number, qualifications, interests and who they treat.
02 A page for each condition you treat
Back pain, sports injuries, rehabilitation after surgery: written around what the person searches for and what the first appointment involves.
03 How to book and what it costs
Prices, appointment lengths and whether insurers are accepted, on the page.

Questions
Before you join.
Does this include dietitians and other allied health professions?
Podiatry and dietetics have their own pages. Speech and language therapy and the other professions would follow the same pattern, with different registers and review sites, once practitioners ask for them.
I own a clinic but I am not a physiotherapist myself. Is that a problem?
Not for the law. The HCPC says a clinic can be owned by someone who is not registered, as long as the physiotherapy is provided by people who are. We would ask who treats your patients.
Can I use bamboo today?
The website build is available now. bamboo, the software, is built and running for CQC-registered care providers and is not open to this profession yet. Join the waitlist and we write to you when it is, with the price before you decide.
What does the website cost?
£1,995 plus VAT to build it. After that, £99 a month plus VAT for hosting, security and maintenance, or £345 a month plus VAT if you also want us to upload and manage your content. Anything beyond that is £100 an hour plus VAT, quoted first.
Do I need bamboo to have the website?
No. The website is sold on its own. The software is a separate subscription that we offer when it opens to your profession.
Does joining the waitlist cost anything?
No. We use your details to write to you about this and for nothing else.
